Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of ClipForge (joinclipforge.com), a service that turns long videos into short clips and trailers. ClipForge is a trading name of Sterling Outreach Ltd, trading as ClipForge, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16526615), registered office as shown on Companies House ("we", "us"). By using ClipForge you agree to these terms.
1. The service
ClipForge uses automated tools, including AI, to find moments in videos you upload or link, and to produce clips, captions, titles, thumbnails and trailers. Results are automated and may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish it.
2. Your account and licence key
Access is by a personal licence key issued when you subscribe. Keep it private. Anyone with your key can use your credits and see your jobs. One key is for one person or business; please don't share it publicly or resell access.
3. Plans, credits and billing
- Plans include a monthly allowance of credits. Credits are used when you create clips, trailers and similar outputs, at the cost shown in the app. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
- Paid plans may begin with a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the plan price and renews each month until cancelled.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- You can cancel at any time using "Manage subscription" in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- If a payment fails or a subscription ends, your plan returns to the free allowance.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the videos and material you upload ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process and transform it only as needed to provide the service to you. You confirm that you own Your Content or have the rights and permissions needed to upload and edit it, including any music, footage, guests' appearances and third-party material, and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. We are not responsible for what you publish from clips you create.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use ClipForge to upload illegal content, content that exploits or harms children, harassment or hate content, content you have no right to use, or malware. Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to bypass credit limits. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.
6. Availability
We aim to keep ClipForge running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change or remove features, and we may delete stored files after a period of time. Download your clips when they are ready and keep your own copies of originals.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be shown on this page with a new date. Continuing to use ClipForge after a change means you accept it.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer you may also have rights to bring a claim where you live. Questions: [email protected].
